Grateful nevertheless to be typing about this in lieu of other things about which I could have been typing mere weeks ago.

My (admitted) love interest and I had a long talk on FB a few days ago about how much I want to see him in person again, and he promised that we could get together soon.

But just now, I happened to be (yes, I'm aware that no matter what excuse I choose to make, this is stalking) scrolling down his profile for recent posts and noticed a status conversation in which my friend asked another guy if he wanted to hang out after he got off from work (around 12:30 tonight).

At first I was a bit dumbfounded and jealous, but then I considered how a guy may ask a male friend, but not a girl, to hang out at a generally unheard of hour. My particular interest knows that I'm usually a night owl (albeit a rather reserved one), so I found it somewhat vexing that most people will want to meet up with others of the same gender at any given time, but tend to reserve hangout sessions with members of the opposite sex for the daytime and/or more "appropriate" hours. Then again, that's just what I've observed tonight and in a few other situations.

Any thoughts on this will be appreciated, and hopefully I'll eventually get to see my favorite person again, haha.
