It sounds so much easier than it is done. However, I have learned that all things worth having require hard work. I want to be happy, I want peace, and I strive to be a better, more positive person.
A lot that bothers me are issues that are no longer relevant, much of it are problems that are at least 3-5 years old. I realize this, and I also realize that it is self-harming to keep living with these unresolved issues. One thing sobriety has taught me is that you don't always get the "closure" that you feel you need, and that's okay!
Moving forward without closure makes a person stronger, so it's time I let go of this unnecessary negativity, and start living my life. I am no longer living in that time with those problems, for I have new problems that need attention, so I am ready to start living in the present. (:
