    So I am washing my face when it hits me--I have confused the mandolin with the ukelele, haha. Didn't medieval minstrels use ukeleles? ha! Doesn't Sting have an affinity for the ukelele? ha. Well, they both sound cool, so who cares. Sorry for the confusion.

    With the REM one it is definitely the mandolin. That melody. It sounds as if no other instrument could ever hope to pull that off. That song makes me freeze in my tracks whenever I hear it. Also, do you ever listen to Jack Johnson? He likes the mandolin too.

      True. I picked up on that. No wonder you can run so far. If a wind gust were to rip the buds out of your ears you would probably fall down. I think you run on music. It's in your blood I guess. Me? I listen to the voices in my head which is why you can find me crawling out there sometimes. help...

      music is a big concern of mine... i wake up with lyrics floating through my head... i pick out chords in songs.. the tones leave finger prints, so to speak....
