For now I find myself living with my mom as she helps me get back on my feet with the divorce. I was a stay at home dad the last couple years so being kicked out of the house with nothing gave me no choice. I am very thankful for her help and love my mom very much. The price of rent is great too....FREE!
Of course there are some down sides to it such as my mom likes to talk non stop about everything so I never feel alone. Also I will want to date eventually and it will be embarrassing to explain to girls I live with my mom.
The divorce will happen in time and I will go back to work soon. Just a weird time in my life is all.

If my Mom was still alive I know that's where I would be right now with her. Your lucky though with free rent LOL My Mom would charge! I'm just glad you got out of that unhappy relationship/marriage and can start your life a new with someone who is kind and loving to you. +3 nods |
 | Posted Jun 16th, 2009 at 4:53AM Don't be ashamed or embarassed. Just remember that sometimes home is a GOOD place to be. I am living with my mother. She needs my help and my husband is in a nursing home also. So never be ashamed. Be glad you have a place to go.... |
 | Posted Jun 17th, 2009 at 8:49PM I can empathize. I had to live with my mom briefly after college, and while not having a job is no where near as painful as a divorce, I can understand your "down sides" Hang in there, all storms pass eventually. |

I lived with my ex's parents for nearly 2 years and ended up getting on better with them than I did with him! Just be your sweet self and the right girl will accept and love you for who you are, regardless of your circumstances. You have nothing to feel embarrassed about - it was either mum or a mate's sofa, right? |
