I Am Living With Mom
I live with my mother and sister . The same house I grew up in. But, I am not ashamed of it. It's kind of hard to be, as I pay the same rent for my little room, as I would pay for an apartment anywhere else. =p
My mother is very strict, due to her own upbringing. The rules are, once a child turns 18, they have to pay rent... unless they are going to college, then you can stay for free. Otherwise, pack your bags and live on the street. lol. I had wanted to move, when I was age 21... but then a crisis hit me, and I fell into deep depression, post traumatic stress, and huge anxiety. It just seemed easier (if not safer!) for me to stay at home, pay rent, and be around family that could help me. If I had moved out at that time, most likely I would have really succeeded in my suicide attempts. As I could only try it at night, living with family, when everyone else was asleep. :-/
Well, I do have a job and I pay my own way. This house is just a hub for me and no matter what comes up, it's nice to just leave my room and find my sister or mother right there to talk to. :-)
I plan to move out, when I get married. =p
