13 years? me too. it took me a few years to come to grips with it all and just like you you couldnt tell to look at me that i have it....i dont have good days and bad days but i do have some problems with things that very well may be permanent....like my mood, i cant run, i have to concentrate to walk, and i find it difficult to keep jobs although i do fight and live it all up like im not gonna be able to later. im glad to see its not just a few people who are successfully battling this!

I came to terms with mine as soon as i was dx'ed with it. It's not a life sentence it makes us stronger and more determined to fight it. So keep fighting and never give up

I live with chronic nerve pain from my spine and I know the levels of torture and frustration one endures and suffers through. Are there newer meds which help alleviate symptoms?
    Truly, feel well

I don't have pain really only in my back. I can't imagine having constant pain. If your referring to new ms meds there are, but my neuro won't put me on them because they are linked to breast cancer which runs in my family

Me too, Symptomatic since 1992, Diagnosed in 1998 and at 55yo, I'm still healthier than most. But then I didn't listen to teh idiots that told me to slow down either. I have all hand picked Specialist now who travel a better path in treatment ideas and listen to me, I was a Hospital Admin in the Army and not as stupid as the past docs thot , and even my "GP" is my Hormone specialist. I have gone to Hormones over Beta Seron and have seen even better results than with Beta Seron and in the past 3 years, not on a thing. Europe is really happy with the results of Testosterone and Estrogen replacements. I am too! BE good-Steph

I've been on all the sub Q meds I just started Tysabri last month. Took me 3 yrs and other people I've met with MS to start the Tysabri it was a little scary reading about it, but I'm happy I did it finally. Take care
