Older Man And Lonely

magine waking up one morning to darkness,This happened to me last Febuary2011, it appears that I had a mini stroke in my sleep, nothing else was damage, just my eyesight, I can see about 2ft in the right eye only.
My partner after about three months decided she was not happy having to spend extra time on me decided to end the relationship after 8 yrs.
now I am in sheltered housing, but very alone,
The fears of walking the streets again are slowly easing as I become familiar with the local area, but it is the loneliness in a flat in a town I don’t know with no friends
I am 62 now and face the next however many years I have left alone
I know the stroke could have been worse but it does not change things, loneliness is something I never thought I would have to deal with.

Sorry to hear about your situation, Its a tough one but hope one day you meet some one better than your ex.

I'm tremendously sorry to hear that, sir. God bless you for the strength you've shown in the face of ailing health and may He guide you through this as well.<br />

While it doesn't mean nearly as much as a real relationship, many people here are pulling for you.

Thank you both so much for your kind words

((hugs)) I am so sorry you are struggling and doing it alone. Lonlieness is a terrible feeling. I understand that it hurts. I wish I had the right words to say but I don't. Know that you are never alone. Your spirit guides are with you always and wish to comfort you the best they can. Prayers and blessings of love are sent your way.
