With out this dark void, there would be no motive to push forward into tomorrow. There would be nothing to let you know you are missing something. How do you stop it? Fill the gaping hole that has been left by the lack of something? The simple answer is, you don't.
You stop what you are doing and look at yourself. When you realize that what you are missing is still inside, there is nothing you can not achieve. There is no person that can take from you what you have not offered up willingly. And just like a personal loan, you have done so with the knowledge that you may never get back what you have put in. Stop playing pity party, and take control of your own thoughts, and with it your life.
