I've slowly yet surely been isolating myself these past couple months.

At school I still hang out with friends, but whenever I have the chance(In class) I'm listening to my music, being alone, not socializing. I do this every bus ride pretty much too, to school and back.

At home I'll hang out in the neiborhood with friends sometimes. But usually I'm on the computer...sometimes on facebook. But, I never chat or message people on facebook. I hardly ever do.

I usually can only hang out with friends on the weekends, if I don't have work.

I've drifted so far from some old close friends. Some far away friends I don't even talk to anymore.

I've become very alone.

I'm very doubtful of myself, and have low confidence. I feel that people do not want to talk to me, and that I'm just annoying them and being obnoxious.
This is the main reason I don't chat online and what not.
It keeps me quiet in person as well.
I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing this. The self esteem and all that. No therapy or counseling, not until I'm 18.(The only thing I lie about here is my age lol. I'm 16)
I've been considering volunteering, but haven't gotten around to it. I'll get on it :)

When life stands still sometimes this is when we do our best reflecting. What is it we want to do? What do we need? Things are rarely given to us on a silver platter. Things come about only when we make movement. Have you ever thought of volunteering somewhere? Like helping those less fortunate or maybe at an elderly community center? Every once in a while we are called on to grow and learn about life. To get out of ourselves a bit more and learn more about ourselves. Even at 47 I get the lonely feeling now and again, then I have to make a list of things I can do that are doable and within my reach. I would be willing to bet you have lots to offer...try volunteering, just a thought. I hope you find your answers. What ever answers you come about with, just make sure it is safe. :)
