Your Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated

I just want this feeling to leave me. I'm tired of feeling like I need to be in a loving relationship. I'm a loner by nature, I'm an only child, I didn't have many friends at school and I didn't really care about it. I'm the kind of guy that would be sitting outside having a smoke while looking at the sky while everyone else would sit inside and be socializing. I truly envy people who are happy just flying solo and always thought that I would be like that. I'd be grateful if any experienced soul would give me advice on what I can do to not have to feel this way anymore...

Dear Loner, it's fine for you to want what you want. However are you hurt in someway that makes you avoid intimacy? We all need to be loved and you are no different. But we want what we want and if you feel that way embrace it and honour it. Please be mindful though of the fact that anyone that you enter into a primary relationship with will suffer a great deal unless they are a true loner as well.
