the idea that matter cannot be created or destroyed is facinating to me... that al matter is recycled and we are made up of matter of ancient stars and yeahhhh. i dont really know what im talking about but i heard this theory somewhere and it intrigued me...

It's true! We are all connected to each at a very deep level :) To each other, biologically to the earth, chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically!
When stars collapsed and exploded/implode they scattering their enriched guts across the galaxy. Their guts which are made of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and all the fundamental ingredients of life itself then become part of gas clouds that condense, collapse and form the next generation of solar systems. :) These solar systems now have the ingredients for life itself, so that when we look up at the night sky, we shouldn't feel small! Because, yes we are part of this universe, we are in this universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the universe is in us. :-)

:o intriguing...

exactly :D

It is fascinating, I think so too! And it's part of life's meanings, I think. A very literal way in which we are all immortal.
