I've only been married 8 years. In the past 6 my wife and I haven't made love. First it was because of the birth of our new daughter, then post partum and now I don't know. I've been a stay at home father since my daughter was born and I'm being treated as if I am my wife's butler.

When I first met my wife she was a large woman, over 350 lbs, with a very loving personality. I helped her through a bariatric surgury and she lost over 150 lbs. Now she acts as if she is just too good for me. She has found bar life with friends more appealing and its a stab in the heart every time she leaves the house.

I thought of this story when reading your own story -

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend, who was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. She could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, "Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying - "Just take care of my eyes dear."
What would your advice be to that boyfriend? It is your birth right to live YOUR life. Life is very short so make the most of it and be good to yourself. Thinking of you.

get your life back!!, I'm sorry if im saying something that is too harsh but you have let your life slip through your fingers. get it back, atleast the one out of your house... maybe get back to work and if that's not possible a volunteer work would be very useful.. it will make you feel better, get you to socialize with alot of people, get a life of ur own and perhaps when you r not available she will appreciate how good you are... if she doesnt then i think you will have to rethink your relationship over. you are the one giving and giving in this relationship, if you ask is time to take something back
