I Am Married To A New York Mets Fan
I am just back today from a trip to see the Indians/Mets series. It was a sweep and that made the DH very happy...and when he's happy, my life is much better!
I tried to blog from Progressive Field...which will always and forever be known as Jacobs Field or The Jake to me...but my handheld technology was tempermental. We saw the Tuesday and Wednesday games and had lovely weather. Although on our return to my friend's home on Lake Erie, we were attacked by a strange group of insects called Mayflies...which are about the size of dragonflies! I've never seen anything like it!
Cleveland is one of my favorite cities to visit. I've been taking 'road trips' there since I was 17, and my BFF has lived there since 1983. We stayed with her, so bonus bonus bonus for me. PLUS...I bought a car from her while I was there! To top this run of good luck off, we bought some Ohio scratch-off lottery tickets and won $50.00.
Good baseball, content husband, girlfriend time...all in all, a happy road trip.
