his armywife is no more! My husband and I have split - so I'm guessing we'll be divorced by the end of the year. I'm not sad - it was on the cards for a while and I think it's what both of us want, there is some bitterness and at the moment we don't speak at all. Still it's for the best anyway. To be honest it'll be nice to start again though I doubt I would ever marry a soldier again. Don't get me wrong I know theres pros and cons but I would like to be with someone that didn't disappear for months on end, it's okay if they appreciate you but if they don't it makes it very lonely!!

Then it just shows it was over long before now we just didnt want to admit it! Looking forward to the future x |
| Posted Aug 7th, 2008 at 3:09PM There is certainly something to getting out of limbo, having a direction again, and moving on...but, fair warning, those fickle feelings sometimes rear their heads...don't worry when the sadness and grief come...they will pass, too...and if anger shows up...he's bound to when the legal proceedings get moving...try not to let him run the show too much...almost nothing done in anger is anything I've ever been proud of...cheers!....SS |
| Posted Aug 7th, 2008 at 3:11PM Yeah I am expecting to have some lows with the highs - but I finally feel strong enough to deal with it! Thanks to my meds, EP, psychiatrist, doctor and counseller lol! It won't be easy but when I get there it will have been worth it! *hugs* |
