He Just Don't Get It.

When he drinks he says hurtful things. He is always telling me if I don't like him drinking than leave. What is wrong with him. Does he love me or does he keep me around to take care of his 8 yr old daughter?

    You need to understand the alcoholic mindset-get to an AA or Al-Anon meeting,
    just for the understanding of it...

    I know what u mean. I get told that by my husband too. The only difference is he tells me our kids hate me because Iam such a *****. So than he tries to turn the kids in to liking him and hating me. He calls names and swears and put me down so bad that i have no self esteem.
