I Am Married
If you're married and have been for awhile, then you probably know what I mean. If you don't, you're one of the lucky ones and don't ever forget that or take it for granted, you'd be a fool. :-)
My wife and I have made a comfortable marriage (most of the time) out of need. Please, don't get me wrong, I love my wife. I really think she could've done much better, but I was there when she and the kids needed me. I just never left. :)
Today, I'd had enough. I got out of bed, got dressed and decided I was going to do something productive today. My wife wasn't to up on the idea. I get hurt a lot easier these days, so she sat with me in the shop. We had an absolute blast. I have always enjoyed her company in the shop, even if she's just watching. She has a good eye for detail. Today, we found a project to work on together until it became a one person project, then she took it so I could do other things. We were actually in love today and I'll cherish it. I don't know what tomorrow will bring.
