I didn't think I'd have to be the first one to write but I guess someone should. Yes I am a Mormon...wow it's been a long time since I've said that. I was baptized when I was 13. I was the first person in my family to do so. A year later my mom and step dad and little sister joined. None of them go to church now. When I was 15 I shopped going to church and basically did a 180 as far as the church and my personality went. I am just now starting to find my way back. I've struggled with the LDS church a great deal...I'm still struggling here and there, but I have some wonderful people in my life that I know are there to help me anyway they can. I also know that my life since I've started going to church again (it's been about 5 months now) my life has changed drasticly and all for the better. That's why I keep going and that's why I'm doing what I can to learn everything I can.

I'd like to take this time to bear my testimony. Do you know what Freemasonry is? Research Freemasonry and Mormonism and then ask yourself, "How can this be the ONE TRUE CHURCH if there are other societies performing the same Sacred rituals we perform in our Mormon Temples?" Joseph Smith Sr. and Hyrum Smith were both Freemasons and used "Magic" to hunt for treasure. They also taught this to Joseph Jr. who was also made a Freemason just about 7 years before he created Mormonism. Ask your Sunday school teacher or better yet your bishop if magic is the work of God and he will tell you, "No." But I'm sure will find some warm and fuzzy excuse for Mr. Smith. Then watch the MORMON MADE movie about Joseph Smith's life and you will see the character playing Joseph using a seer stone inside his hat in a field. Joseph also used this magic rock to translate the golden plates to write the Book of Mormon as well as D&C and Pearl of Great Price. Ask why cities and other places in the bible still exist today but the places where the Nephites and other tribes from the book of Mormon cannot be found documented ANYWHERE. I'm not singling your religion out, I just happen to know a great deal about Mormonism. They may not practice polygamy now at least not in the open but say your wife who you married in the temple dies, you can remarry and have Celestial sex with both or however many you may have had. Polygamy is ACCEPTED in the spirit world according to Mormonism. Mormons also believe you yourself can become a god someday as christians believe in only ONE, whether that be past, present or future, ONE! All religion is man made. You must look to the stars and planets (the real heavens). I know it sounds corny but check it out. You have the Son (Jesus) and his Twelve apostles which he travels among. You also have the SUN and 12 Major constellations which the Sun travels among. Youtube a little film called "Zeit Geist" and it will explain the true birth of the SUN (Dec 25) and the 3 kings that follow. I know it will be very easy for you to dismiss this because that's how Mormons are brought up, to disregard anything that may disprove your LDS faith. They don't want you researching other religions either which would include Freemasonry because they don't want you making the connection. They don't get into specifics other than stay away from those who may lead you astray which I guess would be me right now, don't look into other religions and oh yeah "We want your 10%" I humbly say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Sorry, I thought it was Fast Sunday.

Hey im in the same bout you were. I became a member at age 15 and shortly after left the church. I was out for 6 years! However I am back now, and trying to become a better member even though its hard to shake off that 6 years of habits I formed while inactive. Hang in there, and let me know if you ever want to chat!!!
