I'm Never Lonely ...

I come from a, relatively, large family. We were always under each other's feet and rarely had time to ourselves unless we actually tried very hard to. I have also been in a number of situations, through my life, where being alone was practically impossible.

So, it would be safe to presume that I would find it strange, or even discomforting, to be in situations where I am alone, but I don't.

I could quite happily spend the rest of my life alone and never feel the need for companionship.

And, you know what? I like that. I prefer my own company, but I can still be among others and contribute positively.

Yep, I never get lonely either. I prefer being alone. To me, that is the ultimate freedom. I do whatever I want, whenever I want. The only issue is making plans for when you get old because you can easily slip and fall and break something, so you'll need someone to check in on you (maybe live in a retirement care community I guess).

Feeling lonely is such a hassle...it makes you vulnerable. You start looking for someone to get rid of your loneliness.....eventually that makes you more lonely in the end.<br />

Believe me, there is only pain and more pain in feeling lonely...I go through this pain everyday of my life.

Maybe I'm unlucky? Who's to say feeling lonely is actually a good thing sometimes? Maybe I'm missing something that's actually quite important?

You are a lucky man!
