I have half a year more of being nineteen. It's such an awkward age... the "teen" suffix guarantees that I don't command the respect given to adults who are 20 and over, yet I am definitely not a teenager any more- only nominally. I'm in college and am surrounded by classmates and friends who are well into their 20s or more, and for goodness sakes I'm MARRIED (by choice, not because of an accidental pregnancy or something like that). But my age is really only an in-between age, that's all it seems like. Out of high school, thrust into the world of adulthood by marriage and complete independence, yet not looked on as an adult. Strange age, strange circumstances, and it's all made worse by the fact that I look about 3 years younger than my age.

It is a very weird age, because you are old enough to get PG, but not allowed to buy alcohol or any other things that require you to be ....... of age.
