Different Paths

I may not agree with your choices.  I may not understand them, and the unknown is always scary.  But I will listen, and suspend my judgement.  I will hear what you say, and what you do not say.

Your road may be very different from mine, and that's okay.  Even when I am confused or even frightened by your choices, I acknowledge that it is your path, not mine.  For all I know, you may find my choices scary and confusing.  We each have a path to travel, lessons to learn, things to experience.  Your journey is yours.

And I respect that.

Exactly! There comes a point when I have to stop listening though, for others are adament that they have all the answers, and I believe that I am my own best decider of what to adopt that is said and what does not suit me or my view. It is okay to believe what you want to believe, but I do not demand that others see it my way or burn in hell, or are lost in their beliefs. It is refreshing though when you find people that have a similar view and path as yourself. The accumilation of wisdom is different for us all, and there are people that I run into that know more than me that I do agree with deep inside and suits me, sometimes a book, tv, or here. I am sure you know what the feelings of personal coviction of what is right for YOU. Thank you. I think this may be one of my favorite rooms because I feel so strongly about this. May your journey be fruitful in your quest for more wisdom and growth.

Yikes I am having the same affair here with someone from different background and we both respect each other and embrace complete sharing of love and everything mutual for benefit of both... I am a total fan!

Beautifully said. I agree wholeheartedly and commend you for your insight and self awareness. = )
