I'm Used To It

Did you have a mom and dad who spent more time in the home than in the bar? How about an uncle or aunt that cared about you, perhaps a grandparent or several?   Friends, neighbors growing up?

I grew up alone. No friends that didn't move away, my grandparents on either side were all gone before birth and I had no aunty's or uncles who cared at all.

I didn't have a girl I didn't play sports, I was just a lonely little guy.

I spent more hours of my life alone than not, I got used to it.

I never accepted or embraced it!
