They Are Ok With Me

I donot mind opposing views.  To me it is nice to hear how others think.  What I don't like are the feelings some where on their sleeve and feel that my view has slapped the feeling off their sleeve.  Or those who when stating their view feel the need to put down or belittle.

There really is no need to feel that your view will not be accepted.  Even if it is different and there is someone who doesn't like it.  It is ok, we each need to take the time to listen and understand even if we do not agree.

I have friends that have much differents views to mine we should all be able to respect how others feel and we are nearly all guilty for not doing that 1 thing that drives me mad (other than my own poor spelling) is when some people try to force their opinion or beliefs on others and refuse to acept their point of view.

The colossal misunderstanding of our time is the assumption that insight will work with people who are unmotivated to change. Communication does not depend on syntax, or eloquence, or rhetoric, or articulation but on the emotional context in which the message is being heard. People can only hear you when they are moving toward you, and they are not likely to when your words are pursuing them. Even the choices words lose their power when they are used to overpower. Attitudes are the real figures of speech.<br />
