I'm Not Happy, No. ...

I'm not happy, no. It's for the best. If I'm happy, everything's nice in the world, I like who and what I am, I get euforic, believe in myself without questions, lose my inhibitions, do something really stupid and sink into a deadly cesspool of despair and depression. It's best not to be happy, for me.

I dunno man, maybe you should stop yourself before you do something harmful to your happiness? Figure out what kind of actions make you unhappy, figure what action you would like to do when you are happy and then avoid the former and practice the latter. I'm hoping for you man

This is an odd outlook on life?

Hmmm - maybe you are confusing happiiness and euphoria. Euphoria is a feeling. Happiness is a state of being. Euphoria (since it is an emotion) has to be managed carefully. Actions (behaviors) are a direct result of thoughts. Thoughts occur no matter what mood or state you are in ... That is why knowing the truth actually does set you free. ... because your thoughts are no longer confused. The result is making better decisions which result in better behavior .... and ultimately lead to peace and happiness. That's how I see it anyway. I hope you find happiness. ttyl GJ
