Qualifications and Credentials.

You look at my resume and you have no idea who I am.

You talk to my friends, family, co-workers, former employers, and you have no idea who I am.

You talk to my pastor, my doctor, my pizza delivery guy, and you have no idea who I am.

You talk to me, you have no idea who I am.

I am a walking bundle of nerves. I love to laugh and have fun--unless you're not laughing and having fun too, in which case I don't see the point. I'm an empathetic, sympathetic, emotional roller-coaster who probably allows the way you feel to affect me more deeply than it should. Nothing in the world would make me happier than knowing that I've made you smile, laugh, or just feel special and loved. I'm not a professional, perfect-looking woman. I walk around like a moron, clucking like a chicken or dancing like an eighties' fan because it makes you smile. I tell the WORST jokes in the world because you can't help but laugh at them. I act like the stupidest person alive because despite your exasperation, you're so entertained you can hardly handle it.

I love to see you smile, and you don't even know it...

The first person you should care about is yourself. You have to believe that you alone determine your happiness and self worth. You don't need other people to determine your happiness, it would only cause you disappointment and confusion... like your letter.
I felt the same as you and it nearly killed me but i worked out a way through and eventually let that flawed belief go... that i need someone else to validate me... to be happy about who I am and what i do.
Its been a few years so i hope you have have worked it out, if not then i say just keep on trying to work it out and you'll get there.

You definitely seem like you are a great person with a wonderful personality!

Sounds like me. But most people don't seem to understand that I'm acting like a goofball on purpose cause I like to see them laugh, and think there's something wrong with me. Most people I think are way too serious and take me way too seriously. Eventually I stop being like this around these people and it makes me sad that I can't be myself. However I appreciate those that appreciate me!

You sound like a lovely and lively young woman.
Personally ..... I love it when I encounter people like you in real life. :)

Your a wonderful person with a lot of heart. I respect and admire people like you. Your are a person who gives life a true meaning to the word friend. The phrase of live life to the fullest and enjoy every second you can for we never know what tomorrow may bring is so very true. You go girl and Keep on smiling!
