Mine's is doctor prescribed cause I am having quite a big operation in October and am now in the 6 week lead up time where I have to follow an eating plan. I have allowances and lists and it seems like absolutely every piece of joy has been sapped from food. Anything that is nice is not allowed. Every time I think I have found an exception blam! I get told to avoid it. And some stuff that I thought was typical diet food is turning out to be suspiciously bad for you. For instance, 2 rice cakes = 1 potato? And the cravings!! WTF? I mean where do these cravings come from? (No I am not pregnant) For some reason I have become completely fixated on chocolate, avocado (it's winter here and they are looking sooooo good) and popcorn. Give me a choice between a slab of chocolate and Brad Pitt and I would have to think about it and get back to you.
