Short And Proud

I think i would rather be short than tall. i think for what i do and who i am i am just right in size. I feel im perky and happy most of the time and being five foot is good for that. I cant play the front line in beach volleyball too well, but i can stay closer to the board in surfing and can sneak in and out of racers when jogging...............

You are fun size... I think that's the best! So many fun things to do! ;-)

From what I can see in your avatar pic you have a very lovely and perfectly proportioned body. I simply adore petite girls/women most of all. Please add me to your friends. I tried inviting you but was blocked.

I love that you are so creative and energetic.

well i am small and petite as well....and i did try to add you but its blocked and i can not do it...<br />
pity :(((((

Remember, Asianbeachgirl, some of the GR8est gifts have come in small packages!

haha, i like that, that's a good post. Yeah, i think being tall is overated. haha. I'm pretty damn tall, and I agree with everything that Andrea said. But I'm also a martial arts instructor, and I've been training for a long time, and that's the first thing i ever noticed... tall people are goofy. So what i've been aiming for is staying proportional, agile, and accurate. My martial arts instructor is short and fast, so I may be a 6'3" 185 lb. man, but i fight like i'm 5'3" and 135 lb.... but better =)

i am and enjoying each day.

Does this mean that if I was standing next to my tall BG, I would know what he was going to do before he did it? Cool.....

Shorter people have faster reaction times, greater ability to accelerate body movements, stronger muscles in proportion to body weight, greater endurance, and the ability to rotate the body faster. They are also less likely to break bones in falling. As a consequence of these physical attributes, shorter people can excel as gymnasts, divers, skiers, martial artists, rock climbers, figure skaters, rodeo riders, soccer pla<x>yers and long distance runners. Within their weight classes they are excellent wrestlers, boxers, and weight lifters.<br />

In addition to these advantages, short people experience the world a little sooner that tall people.<br />
According to neuroscientist David Eagleman, if a 5'2" person was standing side by side with a 6'4" person, "now" would come a teensy bit sooner to the short person.
