Because It's Logical

I 've voted Green since I was a teen and allowed to vote.Yes,I "threw away" my vote by backing Nader a few times,but feel a compelling need to put environmental issues onto the ballot and into the political spectrum.I am an idealist as well as a realist and I will hold my own with any partyline follower in any damn debate any damn time,despite my ignorance-just try me.If we as a species don't start honoring our blessed biosphere a whole lot better,there won't be any party politics left to worry about.Which is fine by me 'cos I've died many times and don't mind another go-round in an arrid Mad Max or Waterworld kind of scenario,but as a parent I'd like to leave our future kids a better inheratance than a battlescarred toxic waste pit...there are plenty of remedial solutions we can put into effect NOW to counterract the greedy egotistical society we now see crumbling...politics (apart perhaps from local issues) are not the solution,but awareness must be raised and we greens need to rise to this occasion and effect systemwide change before...aaauuugh,whatever~ I dunno I just wanna yell at times-your turn!
