Ohhhhh!!! The happy feelin when you take a pregnancy test and it comes out positive and you go rushing to your husband and tell him that you are pregnant and then you guys tell your whole family and everything is a fairy tale. But that's not what is happening to me hello, my name is Janelle and I am thirteen years old and I am 20 weeks pregnant and 6 days. Me and my bOyfriend have been daiting since really little and our goals were to graduate from highschool get a good carrier and get married and have kids of our own. But life had other plans for me and my boyfriend, Austin. We made a horrible mistake and like other people say, " we ruined our life" I honestly think we didn't because I believe everything happens for a reason and our lives just begun. As soon as I found out that I was pregnant I told my bf and family ( we haven't even told our friends yet) and Austin volunterly got a job at bagging groceries and I am currently a licesenced and CPR certificated babysitter. We do not have a lot of money but by the time we get older and have more oppurtunities for better jobs, we will take them and by the time he turns 18 we assume and hope to graduate from Highschool and be able to support our baby and provide everything that the our baby will need. We have a thousand dollars saved and when we know the sex of the baby, we will be shopping for everything. I know I didn't cover everything but I will make sure to post some of the things I am going through like symptoms etc.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. You have a tough rode in front of you--there is no doubt about that. By no means did you ruin your life. There are people in there 30's that should not be able to conceive let alone raise a child. You and Austin sound like you are being responsible and preparing but in truth nothing can prepare you for this massive life changing experience.
Woman to woman I would like you to keep in mind that because you guys are so young the odds of you having forever are slim to none. This is because you will change so much as will he. When you go out into the world learning new facts and opinions you morals and ethics will mold, modify, and/or evolve. No one is the same at 13, 23, 33, 43, etc. You will see with each passing month and year that your opinions, feelings, and beliefs will change. It will be about another 20 years before you really know and understand yourself let alone another person. Just keep this in mind. It doesn't mean that you and Austin will not make it.
Just know there are no guarantees and it is more likely that you guys will be over by the time you turn 15. Whatever happens between you and Austin keep your focus on providing for you and your child. It can be done. I went to school with a girl who had her first child at age 15 but owned her own condo by age 20.

  Thank you so much for this comment, I "love" Austin and my hopes are that we stay together to support this child but I know that probably we are not in a couple of years. I just wanted to let you know that I can live without him and I dont depend on him. And I hope I change into another person, a more mature one :)

  doodlesthecat1, i think you should wait because it is hard dealing with bullying, parents, and well just being pregnant and bringing a child to the world, i really hope you wait because it is not as cute as it seems.....trust me. i will give anyrhing to not be pregnant and in this position.
