Posted Apr 19th, 2009 at 12:39PM Wow! Thats a lot of stress at such a young age! Now - abortion is a pretty big decision - and maybe not the right one - but if bc pills arent an option - then old fashioned abstinence will work. I cant believe you even had time to "create" number 3,4 and 5 with two little ones running around!! Are there mommy and me support groups around? Have you checked with the hospital about play dates for the kids? Maybe being around other mothers will provide you with an outlet. And, maybe hire a nanny if you can afford it - you need a break! | |
Posted Apr 22nd, 2009 at 6:37PM Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I am also pregnant and this is my 3rd. It is very stressfuk and I know what your are going through. I have a 9year old and a one year old and its SO much work but if you're definitly planning on keeping that baby just know it will be hard but one day you will be happy you did it. Also, if you plan to abort, that is your decision also and its yours to make. Good luck and I think that guy down below was a little insensitive. Its easy for people to judge. | |
Posted Apr 24th, 2009 at 8:39AM sounds like you need to do what right for you! people can say what ever they want but it boils down to you in the end and what you can handle. no one else is going to help you so you should do what you feel is right and no one can give you slack about it ! before you make a rash choice and regret it i would ask your husband to take the kids one day this weekend and you pamper your self and relax. even if that means a warm bath with candles and music, just unwind your self. order pizza or something take some time for you. then after you calm down sit with some paper and write out the reason why you would want it or would not good luck :) | |
Posted Apr 27th, 2009 at 6:35PM You need to do this one thing if you don't do anything else. TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN. They have a father and and grandparent close by. Talk with your husband and tell him you will be going out once a week. Get involved with a group of some kind near you. go to meetup.com and look for local groups that meet in your area and join one. Reading group, scarpbooking, anything that is for you and you alone. A few hours a week will do wonders for you. Don't ask if you can, just do it and tell daddy he has to watch the kids. If he needs help he can call his mother to help him. Doing this is going to be what saves your sanity and will help you be a better mother and wife. You might also think of joing a local church. there are activities for you and for the children. Many time the church will provide child care services so that the adults can attend the activities. This will help you and it will help the children to have activites outside of the home in a structured setting. Botom line, you are the only one who can change your life and take control of it. Now you have to do this with the care and development of your four children. To be the best mom you can be you have to take care of yourslef first so that you can meet your children's emotional needs. Food, clothing and stuff like that are things you naturally do. Emotional health of your children is a much harder parenting skill. If you are not geting your emotional needs met then you will not be able to meet your children's. | |
