In the past I would compare myself to other beautiful girls, and see how much prettier they were than me. Even though people would say I was a pretty girl, I didn't believe them. I'm just now getting to the point where I'm starting to see my beauty and love myself.

    Beauty shows in various ways. When you have a particular perception of beauty, e.g. blonde hair, small nose, big eyes, etc..., then you have such a narrow perception about who is pretty and who is not. The thing is, people look at the big picture, not the small little things like someone's nose. If overall the person is nice to look at, and has good behaviour and attitude, they will look pretty.
