Wow! You have all the reason to be a proud father. They speak everything about you share of yourself here. I enjoyed this story, and I love stories shared by fathers. Thanks for sharing them out here.

Good for you. Speaking more from a daughters point of view as I have no children yet, somehow we turn out. Even my black sheep sister, who prematurely aged our parents during her teens, has a good job and is a responsible person. Another sister is an RN and PA and it's so nice to have someone to call about medical questions.

You are so proud and that is a beautiful thing. I got a little choked up. Plus they are contributing in such meaningful ways. Wow. Congratulations sounds trite, but I mean it. This is a wonderful story. (I especially liked the part where she wakes them in the middle of the night--way to hold them accountable.) What, I ask you, would we do without them? Talk about unsung heroes!

Seems that you have some great daughters, but I'm sure that is partly because they had an awesome father.

Smiling as I was reading this. Not surprised at their accomplishments. These girls were raised by a devoted father. :)

Excellent! Your pride shines and well it should. That's awesome that both are successful and doing what they wanted. Good for you dad! Thanks for sharing.

Solid fields to work - and important fields too.

My wife is a research scientist who got her Master's from her Midwestern employer as well. At 50, she is still frequently asked by her employer if and when she will become a Doc. They will pick up the tab should she choose

I have a hunch this is un-needed, but don't forget to let em know how proud you are. There's still no one they'd rather please than their parents.
