I Am Proud of My Children
Most people don't care about other's children. Since you're reading this then I assume an interest in mine.
I have two daughters. Both are college graduates. My oldest has two degrees in nursing (BS, MSN) and a degree in public health (MPH). She works at a large hospital. She keeps doctors from killing their patients. Oftentimes someone in the hospital will have several doctors. Sometimes they prescribe conflicting medications. A nurse will catch that. She will call a doctor at home and in the middle of the night. They have to take the call. She has no qualms about calling them either.
My youngest graduated from one of the premiere universities in the state. She has a science degree. It took her seven months after graduation to find the job she wanted, as a medical researcher. She's doing research into Alzheimer's at a prominent university in the mid west.
The nurse is doing quite well financially. My youngest will be too in a few years. Her employer is begging her to attend grad school there.
