Yes, be who you are!

I adore the cycles of weather, and take time to sit outside and listen, and feel the changes.

As I do this, I learn more about who I am as an individual, and about how well I do or do not connect with nature.

Recent Eample:

The other day a powerful totem showed up in my back yard. A beautiful Bob Cat and her baby! They played around the pool and jumped over the chairs and table.

Then they sensed me at the window and suddenly stopped.

We listened and watched for about 10 minutes. Finally I left the window so that the animals would be free to get out of there.

I wait outside a lot of the time and will have butterflies, dragonflies, birds, hummingbirds and the like show up.

All of these are Nature's way of giving messages to me but this one was the best ever.

My daughter was going to court the next day to ask for full physical custody of her son, we had done treatmentds ( like prayer) and we always ask for signs
through people and/or Nature.

The Bob Cat brings resolve, and all the best of your faculties to reach goals.

Needless to say, my daughter got all the papers organized, and practiced her pleas and she won.

We spent several days learning more about these maravelous animals and their habitat and why they may have been in our town and our back yard due to the fires and drought.

We figured that the mom had the kit about 8 weeks prior to our sighting and that she had been hiding in our back yard brush and trees. We had started the court situation about 8 weeks prior to this day.

I think she figured that we meant no harm and that she could move on.

We have not seen her since then.

She gave us a blessing to protect our "kit" as we blessed her to be able to protect her "kit".

I learned that I loved her and her kitten and that I immediately wished them safety. I also learned that I did not want to put food out and encourage these wild things to become regulars at my back yard.

They appeared well nourished and able to feed themselves. I wanted them to continue their feeding away from little cats and dogs on my block.

I wonder if it is possibe that they understood?
hi ,
no one should take your belifes from you !be who you are even if your diffrent!

Hi,

A simple to read book that came out this year by Michaele Morgan and Judika Illes will help you get the simple truth about wicca. It is titled "simple Wicca".

Starhawk is one of the best historians about the transformation of the "Old Religion". She is a anthropoligist and speaker/teacher at universities.

In a nutshell, the pagan religion is that of being envolved in the cycles of nature and giving thanks.

Men and women were once equal in power and status
as they lived in egalitarian groups. They knew the secrets of herbal medicine, mid-wifry, and the cycles of nature. This knowledge was passed on by verbal teaching, experience, songs, dances, and rites and rituals.

Christianity and Judiasm spread across the face of the earth and anyone who did not get their wisdom from the Bible or Torah (or directly from God through an angelic messenger, a vision, or a dream) was suspect.

Kings and queens who hated someone or wanted to wipe out a bloodline, that could become their enemy, would declare someone a witch and put that person through inquisitons or tests.

The churches perpetrated terrible tales about people of knowledge that aquired that knowldge outside of their schools or the church.

One great lie was that Pagans worshiped Satan. Wiccans could laugh at this because Satan is a created angel that fought against god and was cast onto earth to begile and harrass mankind, according to the Bible.

Hs does not exist to the Wiccan.

Today we have wisemen and women like the Shamens, Depoke, Dahli Lama, and we did have Mother Teresa.

Keep thinking things out and get good reliable information. You may find that you are more Pagan than you think!
I feel I have many personalities just waiting to get out and part of one of those personallities is a slight interest in paganism. It fits in with my idea of an ideal world to some extent. If you could enlighten me in laymans terms on anything to do with Paganism........I have visited Stonehenge, and I read Spirit and Destiny regularly. Some gorgeous articles in that mag!!

Not that kind of witch!! (though I'll probably have that thought in my head for the rest of the day... thanks for the laugh its refreshing!) I just happen to like the ring of it.. to me witch means I'm one with nature the whole going into the woods type.

I don't know alot about wiccan. But from what I know I WILL NOT call you a witch!! I prefer Child Of Nature. Harmony with nature and feminism just doesn't fit my profile of the Good Witch Of the North or The Wicked Witch Of THe East! ;)
