Alright , alright No-ones gonna guess i'll show yins.. there's a gap in the Palasades,( WHERE THE ROAD IS SHOWN ON MAP,just 1/2 mile down stream), these tower close to 400 ft above the river bottom, . why would anyone want to traverst this needless sheer face of this hill,( MT Washington, Duquesne Heights), after crossing the river, The current of the rivers alone would have put them closer to the gap. Like most , people are frugal.
