e saw Jane's Addiction on Friday night. He leaned over during "Jane Says" and told me that the line "Jane says, 'I'm going to kick tomorrow'" reminds him of me. That sucks. I am an addict and I've run out of money. I am tired of it. I look great and feel great in general, but I simply cannot live like that anymore. I was late for work again this morning. I need to take care of myself better. I really do think I can quit on my own if I have some sort of outlet to talk about it... EP to the rescue... lol.
Today is day one. I say that a lot, but I really hope I mean it today. I am trying not to cry, because I think I may have to leave my boyfriend to get away from it. I love him so much but he is in chronic pain and will not be able to quit because he needs spinal surgery. I need to separate myself from his pain and depression. It hurts to think that I will have to leave the man I love... I don't want to, but it's so hard on me to be there for him (he's recovering from a severe car wreck).
I know it's not good to rely on random people on the internet to help me, but I don't know where else to turn. I sincerely hope that this experience group can be a support system not only for me, but for anyone else who wants to make a change to improve themselves and their lives.
