I lost my husbands of 23 years to what seems to be a heart attack 9 months ago. My husband was my best friend and ther was no one I would rather spend time with. My husband was an amazing person. He never met a stranger and seemed to touch every one he ever met. Every one he met became his friend. He left me on September 26 , 2011 with three children, two in college and one a junior in high school. I am looking forward to talking to others who understand what I am going through.
My husband lived his life in a way that inspired me while we were together and continues to inspire me to be a better person in his memory. For this I am blessed even in my sadness.

I am sorry for your loss. I too lost my huband 11 months ago. I can not get past the wanting of him to be with me. I ask him to hold me in my sleep, I always make room. One night I did have a dream, it wasn't about him, but he came into the dream. Just his face and neck. I reached out and touched him, he was warm. That was about a month ago. It helped, but now I am back in the sorrow.

I can smell the sweet of your love for your husband. But life have to move on after all of this. I also had a really tough time when I lost my wife. Then I realized I need to walk on. I went to searchingsenior. com which is especially for mature singles dating. It made my life more colorful and meet my current wife. If you want, have a try.
