I Am Thinking About Making A Complaint To Boards About Hidden Fats

I WAS OUT TODAY AND ALL I COULD GET IN A HURRY ON CAMPUS WAS A THING CALLED A MINI MEAL... IT HAS IN RED BOLD LETTERS "GREAT SOURCE OF FIBER"  YOU COULD BE FORGIVEN FOR BELIEVING IT MAYBE... BUT WHAT I HATE IS THESE PRODUCTS THAT DON'T STATE SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT AND THE MOST ABUNDANT SUPPLY OF INGREDIENT IN THE PACK... WHICH IS FAT...

29 or 36G PER 100 AND 18G OF THAT WAS SATURATED... if 20% of rda of fat is allowed to me that is getting tough then to minimise your fat for the rest of the day ... and 20% is around 65gms of fat a day... 65gm -29gm that is about half the fat of the day... its not good for weight watches... and I get constipation too from those mini meals bars...

NOW I HAVE A COMPLAINT..!

THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE FORCED TO ANSWER AS TO WHY THEY PROMOTE A NEGLIGIBLE AMOUNT OF FIBRE (WHICH IS PROBABLY MOSTLY NUT FIBRES RATHER THAN BRAN OR WHEAT FIBRES) AND THE AMOUNT OF FAT FAR EXCEEDS THE QUALITY, OR QUANTITY OR THE BAR.

TO BEGIN WITH IT TASTES LIKE CARDBOARD WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS... BLAND, NO MOISTURE AND HARDLY A GOOD FOOD REPLACEMENT CHOICE.

THE REGULATORY BODIES SHOULD MAKE THESE COMPANIES FORCED TO ANSWER WHY THE USE SO MUCH FAT IN ONE BISCUIT... ALSO THE TYPE OF FAT AND THE QUALITY TO DESERVE THE LABEL DISPLACED ... IT SHOULD SAY "FULL OF FAT" A YUKKY DRY BLAND BISCUIT MEAL REPLACEMENT FULL OF FAT... GOOD FIBRE BUT NOT GOOD FOR DIABETICS, WEIGHT WATCHERS OR ALLERGY SUFFERS...

ITS LIKE RECENTLY I HAD SOME PORRIDGE.... IT HAD UP TO 6 GMS OF FAT MORE THAN THEY DID 5 YEARS AGO.. THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE MADE TO ANSWER WHY?

THERE SHOULD BE A MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM FAT, SUGAR AND ADDITIVE REGULATION BY LAW AND WHERE ONE FOOD SOURCE IS OBVIOUSLY A SNACK AND NOT A MAIN MEAL IT SHOULD BE STIPULATED THAT IT CAN ONLY HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF FAT

AFTERALL WHY SHOULD 1 OR 2 BISCUTS AT MORNING TEA BE EQUAL TO THE FAT OF 2 PIES ....OR  BAKED DINNER..

NUTRITION COMPANIES NEED A SHAKE UP...



OBESITY IS GONNA KILL THE ECONOMY IN THE END... AND IT WILL KILL MEDICARE AND THE CHEAPER HOSPITAL SYSTEM

ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH...

SO ALL I ATE TODAY WAS 1 QUARTER OR A MINI MEAL BAR AND A LOW FAT ICED COFFEE... AND I FEEL ROTTEN

I FEEL UNSATISFIED IN FOOD SOURCE, DISAPPOINTED AND RIPPED OFF.


THERE IS NO WAY THAT MINI MEAL IS A MEAL REPLACEMENT... ITS A WHOLE DAYS FOOD REPLACEMENT AND IT SHOULD NOT BE THAT WAY


IF WE CAN STOP BAD FOODS BEING SERVED TO KIDS IN SCHOOL I THINK PEOPLE SHOULD STOP THESE VENDING MACHINES SELLING SH IT IN UNIVERSITY CAMPUSES...


ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

ITS A BLOODY DISGRACE! A FIBRE BAR SHOULD NOT CONTAIN SO MUCH FAT AS A WHOLE DAYS TOTAL FAT RECOMMEND DAILY ALLOWANCE...

AND THATS ANOTHER THING... SHOPPING CENTRES


ALL OF THEM SEEM TO SERVE UP FATTY SH IT FOOD THESE DAYS.... THAT COSTS MORE THAT ITS WORTH...




NO WONDER THE AIRLINES ARE TRYING TO GET TAKE AWAYS TO GIVE THEM THEIR OFF-CUT FATS FOR RE-USING FOR FUELLING AIR-CRAFT...

THE CHEAP SH IT FATS OF PALM AND SUMP SHOULD NOT BE USED IN FOODS ANYWAY.


I AM SICK OF TRACES OF NUT AND PEANUT AND SESAME IN SNACK FOODS.... ITS GOT TO STOP! PLEASE THINK OF ALLERGY SUFFERS ... PEOPLE CAN DIE AND CHOKE ON THOSE PROTEINS....

IF MUMS CAN FORM ACTIVIST GROUPS OF FOOD ADDITIVES IN KIDS AND BABY FOODS THEY BETTER START THINKING ABOUT UNIVERSITY FOODS AND SHOPPING CENTRE FOODS AND EVERYWHERE (EVEN MOST OF THE HOSPITALS NOW SERVE SH IT AND THE CANTEENS ARE SHI TFULL OF FAT AND THE CHOICES IN THOSE DISPENSING SELF SERVE MACHINES ARE A DISGRACE.... CUZ ITS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH WITH HOW THE NUTRITION IS GOING NOW.


NO WONDER I AM SICK ALL THE TIME WITH THE SH IT IN PROCESSED FOOD TODAY... ITS SH IT...

Dude... fat doesn't make you fat. That amount of saturated fat would just make someone more likely to get a heart attack.

buyer beware, always do your research, read the small print. Anything that's in a box is likely not good for you. stick to real food that's grown and you are better off.

THESE COMPANIES AND DISPENSING OPERATORS SHOULD HAVE LOW FAT CHOICES AS WELL AND NO PEANUT ETC OPTIONS... FOR ALLERGY SUFFERS...



THE KEY THING COMPANIES NEED TO REMEMBER THAT DIFFERENT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT NUTRITIONAL NEEDS... SO NO EVERYONE CAN STOMACH THE SAME, FAT, OR SUGAR, OR ADDITIVES WITH ALLERGY ISSUES.
