I Wish....

I wish I could go to Gaza.

I wish I could hug Palestinian children.

I wish I could actually make a difference in their lives.

I wish I could just do something for them...

but most of all...

I wish Palestine would be free.

No child should have to live everyday unsure of when they will get food, water or electricity. No child should have to live under the fear of death. No child should have to be raised in the world's largest open air prison.

Viva Palestina! One day justice will be served and you will be free.

    You sound very altruistic- I admire that. But, this kind of conflict is not a simple matter. There are people in all societies who mean and sadistic. They cannot be rehabilitated or made better with niceness. Religions try to make people believe their religion is the only true religion and all others are evil. It promotes mistrust and fear, which leads to anger and violence. And, those who are the. It's disturbed use their religion to hurt others. It exists in all societies. Japan hates China. China hates Buddhists. Irish Catholics hate Irish Protestants.To think that all Palestinians are nice to each other, they aren't. Keep on trying to live on the good side- peace and love for all... even those we dislike.

      I am not saying all Palestinians are nice to each other, but I really don't think children deserve to suffer the way they are suffering.
