I Am Russian
Da. I'm the third generation of my family born in the USA, but my family is originally from Russia. Moscow I think.
My Great Grandfather fought in World War 2 as an officer under Stalin, and he actively enforced the "No Surrender, or Death" policy of the Soviet Army. My Grandfather told me that his father regretted such a policy, and wished he hadn't been part of it later on in his life. Unlike Stalin and his most dedicated officers, my Great Grandfather didn't like the pointless slaughter of his own soldiers just because they were scared for their families and lives. After the war, my Great Grandfather took his wife and moved to the US. There, my grandfather was born, and thus began the American Born generations of the Lukyanenko family.
How have I remained 100% Russian in America, you may ask? Simple, my grandfather married another Russian Immigrant, and my Father was part of the Peace Corp or whatever it's called, and went to the USSR. That's where he met my Mother, and after a couple years, they got married, and moved back to the US, and had me.
So there you go. Not much of a story, but something C:
