I Am Sarcastic
Not all the time, not 24/7. But I do find that it's an impulse, my first instinct, especially when I'm dealing with someone who is slow or illogically stubborn.
It's uncharitable of me and I try not to do it, for I realize people I might see as slow might have their own reasons. I don't reign myself too hard when it comes to the illogical ones, though.
I don't feel like looking it up but someone once said that 'Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.' (I think it's Oscar Wilde...?)
I have a Twitter account where I like to tweet jokes (even though I am fully aware that I am not that funny). The thing is I realize that the easiest way to joke about an event or a person or whatever, is to be sarcastic in your observations about them.
It's the easiest and the cheapest and pretty soon it holds no challenge anymore. People who know me well know that my style is more the silly, random jokes and indeed, my Twitter account is a bit of a surprise for them.
It's not as easy to be silly in 140 characters or less but it's a good challenge.
