I Am Satanist
First things first; I'm fully aware this story may offend a few people. Unfortunately this needs to be said, it needed to be said years ago. It was, but was apparently ignored by many. It doesn't need to be said by me, however someone needs to say it again.
Lets start with the Idea of Theistic satanism. The concept of satan as a physical or even metaphysical being of actual existence is precisely the same as christianity. 'Faith' in a 'being' of higher power. Either concept relies on an individual; whether of divine or mundane origin, to TELL you what to do, how to behave and how to live. Both parties are given an 'ok' from their 'god' to act a certain way.
Blind faith, in ANY form is inherently dangerous. Whether it's Christianity, Islam, Gnosticism, or Theistic Satanism. Its all the same. If you believe in a god of any sort you are, unfortunately, a danger to yourself and others. A person who takes a fairy tale as fact is INSANE. Faith is in direct opposition to logic. It promotes ignorance and fear. No matter who says it. Look not to an individual. Not the pope, not Muhammad, not Lucifer, not Jesus, not to LaVey, not to Malek Taus, not to ANYONE other than ones self. Any human, who calls upon another to tell them right from wrong; in ANY concept. Is less than human. They become a slave to others. Slaves to ideals and and slaves to PEOPLE. Not to gods. I've watched many, many strong intelligent people fall victim to this nonsense. All true humans must be part warrior and part diplomat. We must ALL learn for ourselves and council others to do the same. Anything, literally anything else; is an act of deprivation that should not be tolerated. Grow up or die.
