I Am Scared of Spiders

Arachnophobia(The Movie) Gave Me Arachnophobia

I have had a phobia of spiders ever since I was younger and saw the movie Arachnophobia. I had to check all around the toilet before I could even go to the bathroom for a year, after I saw that movie. I am still scared of spiders, doesn't matter what size they are. If they are an Arachnid, I want it dead and out of my house. If it is already out of my house, I will give it a wide berth like it's a bomb waiting to go off. If it moves, I get a stick with a 3-foot-reach and beat it to a pulp. I don't mind the ones outside too much, because they keep down vermin insects. But if they seem aggressive or twitchy they are toast.

    i lovvve that movie. Never gave spiders a second thought until i saw that movie. I watched it like 20 times a day lol

      Yea it's a good movie, but the thought of a spider with the ability to kill you with a single bite, and you are dead in just a couple of seconds, scares the crap out of me. I know real spider bites can be treated, but if you have ever seen the photos of some of the injuries caused it's still pretty terrifying.
