Relating With God

I know God is there and i have seen Him move in my life...i have seen Him do amzing things in my life and in other people's lives....my problem is RELATING WITH HIM. i get easily distracted when praying,i cant evn fast for a day...Sometimes i find myself sinning soo much...and at times am even embarrased to say am a christian...
at tyms i feel like He is soo far away..but what gives me hope is the miracles he has done..the mercy he has shown to me...i know this smile in my face and the energy i have is all His.so i will work on our relationship.
