Why Is This So Difficult

I was raised Catholic, became a Christian when I was 15. I have lived a crazy life in which the Christian faith has severely frowned upon. I found sobriety 5 years ago and lost God in the process. I have studied Kabalah, Unity churches, and even Wicca. I am intrigued and by nature and find peace there. Can anyone share their experience with me on any of the things I have shared?

If we truly want to seek God and experience God, we must live in spirit and not in flesh and we must worship God in spirit and not in flesh through the Holy Spirit, only then we can see the power and glory of God...In this world right now ,people are worshiping God in flesh that's why they are not experiencing God and they are lost not knowing Gods will... Holy spirit is the GPS of our life for he is the teacher, comforter and strengthener..Call upon Holy Spirit and speak to him and he will guide you to God's will and not the Worldly worshiping..'God is spirit and only by the power of his spirit can people worship him as he really is" John 4:24.... If you want to be religious, enter not the gate of any organised religions. They do a hundred times more evil than good, because they stop the growth of each one's individual development. Study everything, but keep your own seat firm. If you take my advice, do not put your neck into the trap. The moment they try to put their noose on you, get your neck out and go somewhere else. [As] the bee culling honey from many flowers remains free, not bound by any flower, be not bound.... Enter not the door of any organised religion. [Religion] is only between you and your God, and no third person must come between you. Think what these organised religions have done! What Napoleon was more terrible than those religious persecutions? . . . If you and I organise, we begin to hate every person. It is better not to love, if loving only means hating others. That is no love. That is hell! If loving your own people means hating everybody else, it is the quintessence of selfishness and brutality, and the effect is that it will make you brutes. Therefore, better die working out your own natural religion than following another's natural religion, however great it may appear to you.

knowing many people who go to church, I will never be a christian/ catholic etc etc however there is good in the bible if you take the time :)

At the present time, I would have to agree with you and say that nature is the best spiritual teacher. Recently I learnt from an eagle that I would see from my back yard each morning. She would sit in an old dead tree 2 houses down and watch over the block. Doves would come sit with her and take in their surroundings not paying her any attention, I admired the doves for being so "cool" about it all. Sparrows on the other hand would take turns to try and upset the eagle, they always teamed up trying as they might to push push push her but she is after all a mighty eagle and she knows it, she could have killed those sparrows. But she chose to be herself.

The lesson I gleamed from it all is to not pay attention to the sparrows that may come into my life. Its ok let them be, afterall I know who I am and my true inner strength. and don't forget..... befriend those doves they will make great friends and teachers.

I love it.. Very insightful
