Searching For the Face of God

I agree with both of you. We can feel God today and right now. And we see God in His creations all around us. But on the Day of Judgement, we can see God and part of His physical self. "Remember the Day when the Shin (of God) will be laid bare and they shall be called to prostrate themselves.." (Qur'an,68:42). And later, in the Gardens of Paradise, God will remove the barrier between Himself and His servant, "Some faces that Day shall be radiant. Looking at their Lord." (Qur'an,75:22-23). These verses of the Holy scripture plainly reveals that humans will be looking directly at the Creator of the Universe - a reward higher and more worthy than all the gold, milk, honey or handsome youths of Paradise.

God is not possible for us to gaze upon right now. The Prophet Moses asked...and he was shown that even the mountain were crushed when God revealed Himself to it at Mount Sinai.



"God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is like a niche with a lamp within it. The lamp is in a glass, and the glass were like a brilliant star, lit froma blessed tree, an olive that's neither from the east nor the west. An olive whose oil would glow forth by itself without any fire touching it. Light upon Light! God guides to His Light whom He wills. And God sets forth parables for mankind, and God is All-Knower of Everything. " (Qur'an,24:35)



Thus, God describes Himself....it's up to us to choose God alone to worship over everything else - or to ascribe His Power and Might with His own creation. Your choice will determine your meeting with Him. May God's Light be upon you all.

You do not have to wait. God is all around us all the time, there is no separation. I see him everyday, he is the flower in the field, he is the whisper of a breeze. He is everywhere, anywhere all the time.

I don't think I'm living in the future. I am expressing my feelings for God right now. But I must wait to witness Him.

You are living in the future (which will never come) - as then will be now!

The only time you can/ will experience God id NOW!
