I Am Seeing a Therapist
Background: I have been seeing a therapist for about 4 weeks now, To help keep me on tract with my newly sober life style.
I really like my therapist and think he is very qualified. However, I feel like I do all talking. Sometimes he will ask some questions but I feel like he hasn't given much insight to what I say. I basically talk non- stop for the full hour. When I have nothing else to say, we sit In silence. Is this normal? Should I keep going until he knows more about me? I know I need a therapist but if all of them are like this, I might as well talk oUt loud to myself once a week and save fifty bucks. Any opinions/ advice? ThankS :)
