This is a HUGE step for me. I find myself unable to maintain the house that I have lived in for the past 11 years and have decided to sell it along with most of my furniture and buy a fifth wheel. (It's a beauty, btw)
I'm saddened that I'm selling my house, but I'm also excited about living the RV life. Some days more sad. Some days more excited. :P
I'll only be able to live in my RV half the year, though, as I'm not prepared to camp in the winter. And I can't retire just yet, but I am looking ahead a few years and thinking of the RV life after retirement.
So who else out there has taken this kind of a step in their lives and how did it turn out?

I think about living that lifestyle often... I have traveled by RV and loved it... if I didn't have kids I'd probably already be doing it but I haven't ruled out homeschooling. :) Remember, if you think it's sad...it is. If you think it's exciting, it is. What you decide to think about it always a choice. CHOOSE to always think it's exciting! The annoying voice in our heads always tried to sabotage good ideas... Good luck!
