I Am Severely Depressed

Nothing To Live For

I have been severely depressed for 14 years now. I have tried everything, meds, several different therapists. Nothing helps....I also have severe physical health problems, chronic back pain, nerve damage and a bad limp, difficulty walking, liver disease.

I have no friends or family, I have a job I hate and am in a lot of debt. I don't have enough money to eat or buy gas and am forced to use credit cards for my basic needs, I'm on the verge of having to file for bankruptcy and losing my home.

I don't know of anything that will make me feel better. Every morning I wake in despair hoping I had died during the night. I have read some of the other stories on this site and don't know how to respond because nothing has helped me.

    Wow, you have been through a lot, electric shock therapy, and all. Go ahead and read up on TMS. (Neurostar.com) They are having outstanding results and this is only the beginning. I wish you well.

    Check out Naca.com if your home is in foreclosure. I have 2 friends that got back on track with Naca's help and their mortgage cut down to 1/3rd.



    Also check out Neurostar.com. Neurostar is the name of a brain stimulation treatment called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) that is now available to treat depression that is not getting the results you want from an antidepressant.



    I had a series of TMS treatments and so did my 24 yr old son. It's life changing!

    My mom is just like you. She sees no point of even trying to wake up anymore. Her husbands does drugs leaving me to explain things to my little brother whose utterly confused. Then my 3 other siblings take on no responsibility so leaving me to clean up the emotional distress in this household. I've been depressed since I was 12 which makes this a million times painful to even try to breathe anymore. I'm a fighter though. Through the criticism and the love that I don't feel, I keep going. Making good grades and smiling and laughing for everyone. Do not feel defeated just yet. You keep going and keep fighting. I have no idea the struggle you bare but all I can say is that through every dark tunnel there's a light at the end. Tough times are happening for everyone but we've got to keep going. With the little drive my mom has, I expect you to do the same. I hope I helped any bit at all and I wish you the best of luck with everything.
