I'm not sex positive, but I do have liberal views on human sexuality, quite literally: "every human has the right to his/her/their freedom in sexuality, as long as this doesn't affect other people's right to freedom (in sexuality)". :-)

Sometimes I feel sex positivity as a culture (instead of a lifestyle choice) does affect the freedom of other people's sexuality, but that's a discussion I don't want to have right now.
Way too complex and it would ruin the good vibes of this story. ;-)

Okay, I can help myself, a tiny question for The Woman (isn't that a cool title?): do you feel sex positivity is something you enjoy yourself as something personal or do you promote it as a culture you think should become the norm in human's romantic/intimate interactions?
    I'm asking for future reference.

It might become the norm, but organised religion has poisoned many to feel shame of natural instinct. I'm not saying promiscuity is the way, but sexual freedom and self love -is-.
I am sex positive personally because it healed me.

Okay, thanks for your opinion, I appreciate it. :-)
I'll try not to jump your back when you're promoting it as a culture... I wrote why I think that's a terrible idea somewhere else.
Let me look it up, if you do want to discuss it somewhere else after all, but that's optional, only if you think it's interesting and not making you hate me or something. :-p

Healthy sex (consensual and honest) is what I'm for and I promote no cultures, really. I can't hate anyone as sweet as you.

Can't find it anymore. :-( Nah, I wrote a whole reply to that story yesterday or the day before that... maybe the poster has deleted the story. :-(

Fair enough. :-) I'm not going to type my thing again anyway, so let's just keep it at this.
Summarized: sex positive culture as a norm (or as something prominent in society) creates a strange form of elitism (all sex positive women sleeping with the 10% of 'the best men'), where the rest will feel left out.
We already live in a rape culture that blames women wearing a skirt or walking alone at night for their own rape, what will happen when 90% of men "can't get any" whereas they see a few men "get lucky" every time?
Like a leashed dog: dangling a juicy steak in from of his eyes, untill the leash snaps... sex positivity as a concept is great, but I think the world isn't ready for such a thing yet.
It would feed rape culture and maybe broaden the current trend I see a lot around me: that women who're not sex positive can't get a boyfriend anymore, because they only want one night stands or "friends with benefits": only the lust, not the commitment.
But maybe one day, when patriarchy's caged up... it would be pretty interesting. :-)

Ah, in that view... It positions sex positive as a "yay, I'm a horny single heterosexual". That's not my angle. For me, anyone... Any orientation can celebrate sex in any way. By talking, teaching, making art, or engaging in the physical within relationships. Sorry to have been confusing.

I totally agree. Our maker gave us the ability to ****** for a reason. I seriously doubt he/she would be so cruel as to give us such an awesome thing and make it a sin to enjoy.

Some would argue that ******* are solely an aid to effective conception. Those people bore me. :)
