Short Is Relative

I'm 5'6".  In the US, that's a little short.  In parts of Asia, that's actually on the tall side.  It's all a matter of perspective.

It's true that society seems to favor tall people, at least in certain roles.  Shorter people have to try a little harder if they want to advance.  It's even more important to have self-confidence, so height isn't everything.  Generally, I like who I am, and I enjoy being me.  I do wonder, now and then, what my life might have been like if I had been taller.

It's true that society favors taller people, but I wonder if they will ever actually admit this, as it has been proven that heightism among people and professions is on par to racism and sexism.

Same here I'm only 5' 6 as well. Wish I was larger as well.
