I'm shy and I hate it! Usually I'm okay with it but today...
I was woken up (after 5 hours of sleep) by my phone. I had applied for a job and they were calling me back.
At first he said he couldn't hear me well, so I held my phone closer to my mouth. Later on the same thing happened.
And he said "I can't hear you well. I don't know if it's because of your phone or because of you. Maybe this isn't the job for you." Eventually he just told me that I should just keep looking.

Personally, I thought I was speaking loud enough. But this seems to happen often. People saying I'm talking to soft, while I thought... *sigh*
What a nice way to wake up...
Even though I had been trying to speak with a clear voice. And trying to sound as less shy as possible.

Does anyone have some tips on how to act less shy or hide it?

I don't know about the shy thing but the voice volume I might be able to help. Practice while recording you talking. Put your fingers on you throat and talk you can tell the volume your using. If you listen to the recording you should be able to improve it. Good luck

Thank you! I'll most definitely try this :D
